FAQ 1: How does the design process work, and what should I provide to get started?

The design process begins with a consultation to understand your needs, goals, and preferences. During this initial stage, I will ask you to provide any existing branding materials, inspiration, and details about your target audience. Before any work begins, a terms of service document will need to be signed, and an upfront payment is required as per the terms of service.

Based on our discussion, I’ll create initial concepts and share them with you for feedback. We’ll go through a few rounds of revisions to refine the design until you’re completely satisfied. The final payment must be made before the completed graphics are presented. Once the final design is approved and payment is received, I’ll deliver the files in the necessary formats.

FAQ 2: What is the typical turnaround time for a design project?

The turnaround time for a design project depends on the complexity and scope of the work. For simpler projects, such as creating marketing materials using your existing branding, it typically takes about 3 days to 1 week. More complex projects, such as logo design, complete branding packages, or multi-page brochures, can take 2-4 weeks or longer. I always strive to meet deadlines and will provide you with a detailed timeline after discussing your specific project requirements.

FAQ 3: What are vector graphics, and why are they important?

Vector graphics are created using mathematical formulas to define shapes, lines, and colors, allowing them to be infinitely scalable without losing quality. This means they can be resized to any dimension, from small icons to large format prints or signage, while remaining crisp and clear.

Vector graphics are ideal for logos, icons, and illustrations that need to maintain high quality at various sizes. They are also easier to edit and customize, making them a versatile choice for a wide range of design projects. Understanding vector graphics helps you appreciate their importance in creating professional, high-quality visuals for your brand.

FAQ 4: What are your rates, and do you offer package deals?

My rates vary depending on the type and complexity of the project. I offer competitive hourly rates as well as flat fees for specific services like logo design, business cards, or social media graphics. For larger projects, I provide package deals that offer a discounted rate for a bundle of services. I’m happy to discuss your project and provide a custom quote that fits your budget and needs.

FAQ 5: Can you also work with raster graphics and other design formats?

Yes, I am proficient in both vector and raster graphics. While I specialize in vector graphics, I also work with raster images for projects such as photo editing, web design, and print materials. I use industry-standard software like Adobe Illustrator for vector graphics and Adobe Photoshop for raster graphics, ensuring high-quality results in any format you require.

When I receive questions that I believe are important and beneficial to share, I will add them to this FAQ page. Your feedback helps me provide the best service possible, so don't hesitate to get in touch!
